OBJECTIFS CIBLES:

  • To help students understand basic vocabulary of science and technology.
  • To consolidate/ reinforce grammar rules.
  • To write meaningful sentences.
  • To write coherent paragraphs.
  • To answer written examination questions correctly.
  • To read to grasp the general idea of a text.
  • To read in order to find the main ideas within a text.

PRE-REQUIS:

  • Anglais 1

APERÇU INDICATIF DU PROGRAMME DISPENSE:

  • Discovering language
  • Grammar: perfect tenses, the imperative, modals
  • pronunciation of weak forms (could, should)
  • Developing Skills and strategies:
  • Functions: drawing graphs, completing a diagram, transformation of descriptions into diagrams, charts, etc.
  • Listening and speaking: listening to a presentation, note taking, speaking from notes
  • Reading and writing: skimming, scanning; rephrasing, responding to a text, analysing and making a synthesis, writing from a flow chart
