  • The National School of Hydraulics of BLIDA, is a Public Institution of Higher Education under the supervision of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research
  • Established in 1972 under the name of the Institute of Hydrotechnics and Improvement (IHB) – guardianship : Secretariat of State in hydraulics, by Order n ° 72-8 of March 21, 1972, establishing an institute of hydrotechnical and land development
  • Erected in the National Higher School of Hydraulics (E.N.S.H) by Decree No. 85/258 of 29/10/1985.
  • Transferred under the supervision of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research by Executive Decree 98/58 of 11/02/1998.
  • Transformation of the National School of Hydraulics into a non-university school by Executive Decree No. 08-217 of 11 Rajab 1429 corresponding to July 14, 2008
  • Organization of the establishment in higher school by executive decree n ° 16-176 of 9 Ramadhan 1437 corresponding to June 14, 2016 fixing status -type of the higher school

 Training offers

The ENSH assures training offers in graduation and post graduation:

  • Diploma of State Engineer in Hydraulics
  • Master degree in water engineering
  • Magister’s degree:

o in Hydraulic Development

o in water engineering

  • Doctorate degree in ES-Sciences in Hydraulics
  • Doctor’s degree, LMD study regime (D-LMD) in Hydraulics

In addition to the training activity, the ENSH has other missions:

– Training in post graduation specialized in mobilization and valorization of water resources,

– Continuous training through the organization of catalog and card sessions for the benefit of engineers and technical managers in the water resources sector.

– Training of future executives, project leaders to the realization of company by the establishment of an entrepreneurial culture by the organization of the Training Engineer Entrepreneurship (FIE_DZ) in collaboration with the National Institute of Applied Sciences (INSA) of Lyon.

– The ENSH participates in the framework of the free enterprise program “Company program” organized by the group INDJAZ EL Djazair.
